What an honour to be a part of Vicki and Mitch very special wedding day. Instead of a photographer, I was there second shooting video for Jordon Hon. The main photographer was the very talented Sharon Litchfield.
While I was packing for the wedding day shoot, I was choosing a film camera to take with, I went with my trusty Minolta Maxxum 7000. Then it time for film... opened my fridge to look at my film stock, and came across a president choice 400/24 film. hmmm okay, where was it that I got this film???? Oh picked it up for 25 cents at a garage sale, right.... expiration date: March 2004. Great... this is it. I will shoot with this film today (What was I thinking?). And it was so awesome. I love the faded black, the faded colour, the super grainy results, and most of all, having Vicki and Mitch on the film.
I was lucky enough to be able to sneak 24 shots in between shooting videos. Thank you Jordon, and Sharon, for letting me be a bit selfish and take some photos. Thank you Sharon for letting me take some of your idea. I hope you all like these memories captured in a roll of film that expired 12 years ago....as much as I do.
